About Sunshine State Foliage

Every plant in this catalog passed through my hands before it reached yours.
Sunshine State Foliage was founded in 2020 with a straightforward goal: to make exceptional, healthy specimens of rare and tropical species available to growers who care about who grew their plants. Every plant offered through this catalog is seed-grown, propagated from cuttings, or divided from established mother plants that I have personally maintained in Palm Bay, Florida. Every plant has been grown here from start to finish, and every plant that ships meets the standard I hold for my own collection. The collection focuses on rare terrarium tropicals, exotic caudiciforms, and species that are difficult to find through mass-market retailers; each one is selected because it brings something interesting to a serious collection.
Origin
Founded in 2020 on Florida's Space Coast, after more than a decade of growing tropical and exotic species as a personal collection.
Specialization
The catalog narrowed toward rare terrarium tropicals, exotic caudiciforms, and species that are uncommon in mainstream retail channels.
Today
A propagation operation built around honest sourcing, careful packing, and direct communication between grower and buyer.
What we stand for
Four standards we hold to
01
Personally Propagated
Every specimen offered here is seed-grown, rooted from a cutting, or divided from a mother plant that I have grown in Palm Bay. Nothing comes through anonymous wholesale channels.
02
Inspected Before Shipment
Each plant is reviewed in the days before it ships. If a specimen is not in the condition I would want to receive, it does not leave the greenhouse.
03
Honest Descriptions
Light requirements, humidity needs, and growing difficulty are described accurately. If a species needs a terrarium to thrive, that is stated plainly in the listing.
04
One Grower, One Greenhouse
Questions go directly to me. Orders are packed by me. There is no warehouse and no third party between you and the plant.
