Shipping policy

Shipping Days

We pack and ship exclusively on Mondays. When Monday falls on a federal holiday, orders ship the next available business day to ensure the fastest possible journey.

Processing Time

Orders placed before Monday are packed and shipped that week. Orders placed after Monday's shipment will go out the following Monday.

Domestic Shipping

We ship to the 48 contiguous United States and Alaska. We do not ship to Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, or Guam due to USDA phytosanitary certificate and inspection requirements that apply to live plants entering those locations.

Hawaii customers: please contact us at brandon@sunshinestatefoliage.com before placing an order. Certain shipments may be possible on a case-by-case basis with additional processing time and certification fees.

California buyers: certain plant species are subject to California Department of Food and Agriculture quarantine rules. If your order contains a regulated species we will contact you before shipping.

Note: Free shipping thresholds apply to plants only. The cost of optional add-ons such as heat packs and insulation does not count toward the free shipping minimum.

Insulation & Heat Packs

We recommend adding insulation to your order when temperatures at either origin or destination are expected to fall below 50°F or rise above 95°F. Heat packs and insulation are available as an optional add-on and may be added to any order. When an order qualifies for free 2-day or overnight shipping (orders over $150 or $400 respectively) and weather conditions warrant, we will add insulation and a heat pack at no additional charge.

Live Arrival Guarantee

We guarantee every plant arrives alive and healthy. If something goes wrong, contact us within 24 hours of delivery at brandon@sunshinestatefoliage.com with photos of the plant and packaging. We handle each situation on a case-by-case basis and will either replace the plant or issue a full refund.

Carrier Delays

All delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, or events outside our control. However, if a delay causes damage to your plants, please reach out and we will work with you to make it right.

Order Changes & Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled anytime before shipment. Once shipped, we cannot cancel but our live arrival guarantee still applies.
