This is *not* a terrarium suitable plant; it gets large!

Cyrtosperma are semi-aquatic Aroids, some of which can grow quite sizeably. The mother plant from which I collected the seeds was my Cyrtosperma beccarianum. This is either a self cross, or a cross with Cyrtosperma hambalii 'pink spot form'

Cyrtosperma do not like to go below 60°f for long, and definitely not below 50°f. I grow mine in a net pot of peat, partially submerged in water. Think waterlogged swamp muck.

if you want to grow these indoors, submerge a net pot in standing water that has an aquarium heater in it. This was viable here in Florida, but potentially an issue in far northern regions where the furnace is running all winter.
