Care information
A true oddity: an epiphytic monocot from the Pandan family. This Freycinetia is from Papua, and I have not seen it grow much larger foliage than present currently- it appears to be a dwarf species.
This is easy to grow. I can actively pull this plant out of my bins and leave it on the desk for a few days. Slow growing hence the price. These produce only small root systems as far as I can tell.
Keep in well drained potting media. I have been switching all of my plants over to a blend of akadama, perlite, and well-washed cocochips. it is crucial to ensure the salts are rinsed from the cocochips before use.
