Care information

Melastomataceae sp. west sumatra is an unidentified tropical understory plant from material labeled from West Sumatra, Indonesia. It produces slender reddish-brown stems with small opposite leaves that are rounded to elliptic, softly pubescent, and lightly bullate. Foliage color ranges from olive green to muted bronze-green depending on light and growth stage. The plant appears to grow as a low, scrambling or trailing species, rooting readily where stems contact moist substrate.

You will receive a single cutting, grower’s choice. Listing photos are representative of the approximate size and form you will receive.
