*Micrechites serpyllifolius* (dark bullate-leaf form) is a twining vine from the Apocynaceae family, native to Borneo and nearby regions. This form differs from the lighter-leaved type by producing thicker, darker foliage with a strongly textured, bullate surface. Leaves are opposite, elliptic to narrow-elliptic, and the stems show fine hairs, giving the whole plant a rugged appearance compared to the smoother form. Like other *Micrechites*, it climbs by twining and produces aerial roots along its nodes. Make sure to provide ample air movement!

**Light Requirements:** Bright, indirect light. Can adapt to medium light but prefers strong filtered light for vigorous growth.
**Humidity Requirements:** Moderate to high, 60–85%. Thrives in terrarium or greenhouse setups.
**Temperature Range:** 65–85°F (18–29°C). Protect from temperatures below 60°F (16°C).
**Growth Habit:** Slender twining vine with opposite leaves; this form has darker, bullate-textured foliage compared to the smoother-leaf form.
**Soil:** Well-draining tropical mix with fine bark, perlite, or sphagnum. Can also be trained on trellises or mounted.
