Care information

*Pearcea bilobata* is a trailing species in the Gesneriad family native to Ecuador. It produces dark green, slightly textured leaves with red undersides, and under the right conditions it blooms with tubular orange-red flowers that stand out against the foliage. Its creeping stems make it a good candidate for terrariums, hanging pots, or small planters where its growth habit can be displayed.

You will receive an **unrooted cutting**, grower’s choice. It will be similar in size and form to the one pictured but not the exact plant. Shipped bare-root or in moss depending on conditions.

**Light Requirements:** Bright, indirect light to moderate shade.
**Humidity Requirements:** High, 60–90%. Performs best in terrarium or greenhouse conditions.
**Temperature Range:** 65–80°F (18–27°C). Keep above 60°F (16°C).
**Growth Habit:** Creeping/trailing stems with textured leaves and red undersides; tubular flowers appear when mature.
**Soil:** Moist, well-draining tropical or gesneriad mix with added aeration.
**pH:** Slightly acidic, 5.5–6.5.
**Size:** Leaves typically 5–8 cm long; stems trail and branch under favorable conditions.
