Care information
I love this plant. All of the other Pterisanthes have been a pain to grow. This one handles a broader range of conditions and is more forgiving in care. The foliage is thicker, smooth, and very dark. In lower lighting it sometimes even takes on a slight blue iridescence.
I have a hunch this could be grown as a houseplant around the 40-50%RH range, but I haven't tested it. It is quite hardy, and has taken well to my patio room where the other Pterisanthes species have failed.
Growers choice: you will receive a similarly sized plant. It will be a rooted cutting and has new growth.
