Care information

*Selaginella willdenowii* is a tropical lycophyte from Southeast Asia, where it grows in shaded, humid forest conditions. It produces branching, fern-like stems with fine, flattened foliage that can show a metallic blue to blue-green iridescence under diffuse light. Growth is creeping to loosely climbing, with stems spreading over moist substrate, moss, or nearby surfaces. Although often described as having “fronds” in horticultural use, it is not a true fern; the foliage is made up of small lycophyte leaves arranged along branching stems.

You will receive a single cutting, grower’s choice. Listing photos are representative of the approximate size and form you will receive.
